Mitchell Gould

Mitchell believes that good public affairs work starts with listening to people, to communities, and to the stories that shape policy. Based in Toronto, he brings curiosity, empathy, and a deep understanding of Canada’s political landscape to his work at Homeward Public Affairs.


With experience in community advocacy, political outreach, and public engagement, Mitchell helps mission-driven organizations turn their ideas into action. He is passionate about helping leaders navigate systems, build meaningful relationships, and create the kind of change that makes communities stronger and more equitable.


Before joining Homeward, Mitchell served as Director of Political Outreach and Community Engagement at CJPAC, where he built connections between communities and policymakers across Canada. He also worked with Hillel Ontario, advancing advocacy efforts that brought people together around shared values and collective impact.


Mitchell holds an Honours BA in History and English Literature from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in History from Queen’s University. He also earned a Human Resources Management Certificate and holds the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.


At Homeward, Mitchell helps mission-driven leaders navigate complex systems, connect with decision-makers, and advance policies that expand opportunity.


In his spare time, he enjoys reading, attending concerts, watching the latest prestige HBO series, or listening to podcasts on long walks.
