Kimberley Meijer

Kimberley is an accomplished professional with a strong focus on research and writing in public policy, governance, and political science. With a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees, she has contributed to key government initiatives by crafting insightful communications on elections, budgets, and cabinet announcements. Her writing experience extends to in-depth policy research on housing affordability, workforce diversity, and climate change resilience in tourism.

A 2024 CanStudyUS fellow and 2021 Daughters of the Vote delegate, Kimberley has also led high-profile advocacy efforts, creating comprehensive updates and analysis for senior leadership and stakeholders. She is skilled in donor communications, media engagement, and coordinating impactful nonprofit initiatives. Through her dedication to clear, strategic, and impactful writing, Kimberley empowers organizations to communicate effectively and achieve meaningful change. In her spare time (when she’s not immersed in policy research or following all things politics), Kimberley is most likely reading the latest book on her TBR list, penning stories through her creative writing, catching up on classic films or British TV shows, or taking leisurely drives while exploring Ottawa and its surrounding communities.
